The Ef’eh Landfill – the largest landfill in Israel, is located in the Rotem Plain in the Negev and it is used for the burial of mixed waste (“domestic”) consisting of over 3,000 tons per day.
The landfill cells at the site are dug in the ground and as part of their preparation process for burial, a solution is required to prevent leachate seepage into the underground. Likewise, a solution is required for leachate drainage and removal for further treatment.
